We will discuss all aspect of the game and the hobby. Favorite topics are new releases, army lists, competitive play, miniature painting, and terrain. In episode 2 we discuss the Social Contract, that unspoken set of rules and guidelines between players. It’s a long topic, so we’ve divided it into two parts with the second part coming in episode 3. This episode also included the segment ‘All that is gold does not glitter’ where we feature some listener feedback and we introduce a new segment called ‘What have I got in my pocket’.

In our first episode of North of The Shire we introduce our two esteemed podcasters (Don & Drew) and their history around tabletop miniatures, middle earth and lord of the rings. Then we dive right into our main topic: Thoughts on the current meta and finish off with a little chat about some of the worst hit models with the edition change.
We struggled with the sound quality in this first episode, but we have that sorted out for the second episode with some new equipment and a greater understanding of our recording platform.
